THE FAMILY CIRCUS
The new Circus Pro represents a spectacle to be both seen and ridden. The external design and structure of the new fork might be difficult to identify with the naked eye yet they hide significant structural and performance advantages. Hidden inside the stiff, lightweight and robust new outer construction are internals that confer the magic to a DJ specific suspension tool built for the big tent and bigger crowds.

The Manitou Circus fork, as its name would imply, has put the best in the business in a better position to wow crowds since its inception.

STIFFER, STRONGER, LIGHTER
Taking an already amazing performer, making it stiffer and stronger while removing 156grams of weight is the suspension equivalent of pulling a rabbit out of the proverbial hat. Taking advantage of the stiffer yet lighter nature of Manitou’s signature reverse arch and combining it with an entirely new chassis allows for such performance and engineering feats to be accomplished.
Externally Machined Crown for the DJ King
The externally machined crown contributes to these weight savings and is mated to a 1.5” tapered steerer in addition to being polished as is the calling card for PRO level forks in the Manitou range. The new fork comes with an entirely new casting as well and its lower axle to crown keeps the front end low, following the desired geometry needs of DJ athletes.
Brakes, Optional
For those who choose to run a front brake, Manitou has included an option to route a brake line on the Circus. Front brake DJ athletes will find added convenience in the 160mm post mount spacing as the smaller disc maintains a lower profile and thus stays out of the athlete’s way. Similarly, while stiffness is greatly improved via Boost spacing, to better serve all athletes and guarantee maximum compatibility, spacers are included that will permit riders to run a non-boost front wheel.
The hidden internals are cause for the most effective sleight of hand capable of turning rough to smooth and earthbound to sky high.
DJ SPECIFIC INTERNALS
The Circus Pro is a DJ specific fork, with a 26” specific casting that allows for a lower axle to crown measurement. It is not a repurposed trail fork. As such, it gets DJ specific internals with purpose-built positive and negative air volumes that offer maximum support for taking off jump faces as well as the subsequent landing. This is not novelty for the Circus Pro but bears mentioning as it sets this fork apart from its competition.
IVA AIR SPRING
The IVA air spring boasts 5 positions and is adjustable throughout the travel range. It allows for aggressive ramp up for the big hits so common in certain uses of a DJ fork.
ABS+ Jumpstack Damper
The new Circus Pro uses the Manitou ABS+ Jumpstack damper, which isn’t new to this model yet represents a differentiator from its competition. The ABS+ Jumpstack damper allows for incremental adjustment from completely open to an extremely firm locked position. This particular damper is designed with blow off technology that permits riders to take on big hits even with the fork set up to its firmest setting, braking off on hard hits and allowing the rider to take advantage of the Circus Pro’s travel. Considering the varied nature of DJ fork use, the ease of adjustment of the Circus Pro’s damper becomes an important asset. It is simple to dial in for perfect performance in smooth jump lines, skate parks and pump tracks yet can be immediately adjusted for better traction on looser surfaces, slope style riding or rougher jump lines.
Half Cartridge Rebound
The half-cartridge rebound accounts for a significant portion of the new Circus Pro’s weight savings over the previous version thanks to its lighter construction and lower oil volume. It incorporates a self-bleeding design and offers extremely high performance whose consistency is unrivaled in the industry. The amazing 20 clicks of rebound adjustment ensures that the widest variety of riders and riding styles can all find their perfect custom performance with the turn of a knob.
EXTREME VERSATILITY
The newest version of the Circus Pro fork, true to Manitou form, is an extremely versatile unit with a travel range of 80mm to 140mm. Such a wide range of travel in one single fork represents benefits both for shops (who can stock one single SKU and serve an amazingly varied clientele) as well as riders, who can purchase the one fork and have it adapt to any travel within the range in 10mm increments. Such versatility makes the Circus Pro an investment in future proof componentry…as well as in the pleasure of riding excellent suspension.

CIRCUS Pro Gen 3
The Mastodon is not a modified or repurposed trail fork compatible with large tire dimensions, but rather it is a fatbike fork made to improve any ride regardless of how low or high the numbers on the thermometer read. To create such a dynamic fork required all-environment and all-temperature performance testing that took the R+D staff to some of the most inhospitable testing environments in the world. To earn its place within the Manitou family, the Mastodon passed performance and reliability testing in both real world and lab scenarios at temperatures as low as -40 degrees. The Dorado Air, seals, lubricants, and all other internals are proven for all-weather performance, no matter how extreme on either end of the temperature spectrum.
Like all Pro level suspension, the Mastodon utilizes the Dorado air spring first debuted in our iconic Dorado model. The newest version of the mastodon incorporates the VTT6 damper for a simplified and more intuitive adjustment. The VTT6’s single knob adjusts both high and low speed characteristics. The resulting wide tuning range allows riders to easily find the perfect set up for any terrain. These technologies, along with IVA volume adjustment that allows for fine tuning of the air spring curve that adapts to an extremely wide variety of conditions, riding styles and personal preferences.
